Neurohospitalist / Stroke Clinic Neurologist opportunity in Michigan A leading healthcare provider in Southwest Michigan is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Neurohospitalist / Stroke Clinic Neurologist to join their established, highly reputable practice. Position Highlights : Comprehensive Stroke Center & Level 1 Trauma Center within a 434-bed hospital Largest stroke hospital in the region, featuring a 40-bed neurovascular unit and a 12-bed Neurocritical Care unit Opportunity to perform EMGs if interested System-wide EMR : Epic Hybrid Schedule : 1 week inpatient (including weekend coverage) 1 week post-call following inpatient work 2 weeks outpatient clinic (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm) Call Schedule : Average of 1 weekday night per week Support System : Neurohospitalist & Clinic APP support Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) 24 / 7 / 365 Neurocritical Care support Patient Volumes : Inpatient : 3-5 new consults & 5-8 follow-ups per day Clinic : Primarily vascular neurology with a small mix of general neurology; average of 10-12 patients per day Qualifications : Medical degree from an accredited university Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neurology Completion of an ACGME-approved neurology residency Preferred : Fellowship in Vascular Neurology or Neurocritical Care with the ability to read vascular ultrasound studies Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan Open to a hybrid rotation of inpatient and clinic work Healthcare System : Reputation for Excellence : Nationally recognized for quality, safety, and service Strong Community Presence : A locally owned and governed healthcare system serving Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana
