We are currently hiring Registered Dietitians for long-term contract opportunities at correctional facilities in the local area. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced dietitian , we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

Assist and advise clinical staff on special nutritional needs.

Plan dietary interventions, monitor and document nutritional plans, and provide medical nutrition therapy.

Conduct nutrition assessments within 72 hours of a physician’s order.

Provide nutritional counseling and follow-up consultations for patients / youth as needed.

Interpret prescription diets and establish therapeutic menus.

Train food service staff on medical diet preparation and compliance.

Recommend alternative food products and substitutions as needed.

Ensure inpatient dietary menus comply with policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

Minimum one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years.

Valid Driver’s License or Passport for identification.

Current registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to practice in California.

BLS Certification (American Heart Association only).
