We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service / Order Representative to join our team in Inglewood, California. This Contract-to-permanent position involves managing order processing tasks within the customer service department of a wholesale company. The ideal candidate will excel in handling customer inquiries, processing various types of orders, and ensuring seamless communication with sales representatives.
Requirements :
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma / GED required
Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic Computer Skills
Hours :
Sunday-Friday : 8pm till work is completed, usually 3am but could be later.
Duties are as follows :
1) Answer incoming calls
a. Supervisor will advise employees who is 1st, 2nd, etc. for answering inbound calls
2) Enter customer orders
a. Supervisor will specify who is responsible for handwritten order, email orders, faxed orders, standing orders and futures
3) Sort & organize customer product labels
a. Supervisor will specify who is responsible for which labels
4) Double check all work for errors and correct those errors if any or found
a. This must be completed before an employee can leave
5) Other duties may be assigned
Breaks and Lunches :
Breaks and lunches will be assigned by the supervisor.
All employees are allowed a 10 min break for every four hours of worked and after 6 hours of work all employees are entitled to a 30 min unpaid lunch, lunches cannot be taken at desks. Snacks are allowed.
