Responsibilities :

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on goods received and prior to being shipped
  • Manage backorders or order discrepancies to resolution
  • Assist in the overall organization, tracking, and maintenance of company assets
  • Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
  • Manage relationships with shipping carriers and suppliers.
  • Source competitive buyouts for applicable goods for cost savings purposes
  • Track and report key performance metrics, such as order accuracy and delivery times.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Management of tools (Maintenance, testing, certification) and safety equipment (Testing and certify / testing equipment)

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Warehouse equipment operations – forklift, pallet jack, etc.
