We are seeking experienced physics specialists with a background in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) to contribute to a unique AI research initiative focused on advanced physics problem-solving. The role involves creating original, high-difficulty STEM problems designed to challenge and break state-of-the-art AI models, helping improve future AI training and reasoning. This is a short-term, fully remote project ideal for those interested in the intersection of physics, education, and AI research.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Create novel, expert-level STEM problems intended to test the limits of advanced AI models
- Assess model responses to ensure the problem consistently produces incorrect outcomes
- Develop a structured grading rubric with weighted criteria and rationale
- Write a set of three progressive hints to support future AI model improvement
Ideal Qualifications
Strong background in physics with participation or medal status at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) (highly preferred)Ability to judge complexity, depth, and rigor in advanced physics problem designExperience with international or multilingual physics resources is an added advantageDetail-oriented, organized, and able to work independentlyProject Details
