Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the financial controller and accounting teams to ensure the smooth execution of daily financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting processes and systems while contributing to the organization's short-term needs.

Responsibilities :

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support day-to-day accounting operations.
• Assist in generating financial reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management.
• Utilize Great Plains Dynamics and Excel for effective financial data management.
