Tax Professional - Client Accounting

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Tax Professional with great client services and accounting skills to work in a very successful growing firm in Westwood, Massachusetts (MA).Summary : This client is a great place to work, a specialized local public accounting firm working with clients throughout Massachusetts. Employee benefits include 90% paid health insurance, 401K, vacation time, busy season bonuses, etc. This role will be mostly on-site with reduced hours and shorter workweeks in the summer months.Duties :

• High net worth and individual and business Tax Preparation review and support
• Financial reporting and client accounting using QuickBooks
• Communication - provide information and clarify financial data
• BS degree in Accounting
• CPA, EA, MST credentials are always a plus (not required)
• Individual tax preparation skills, 1040, 1065, 1120S ideally with focus on higher net worth clientele
• Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and paperwork efficiently
• Understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations as well as any change that may affect tax preparation
• Time management to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially during peak tax seasons
• Able to assist other finance departments as a team player to meet critical deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
