Senior Engineer - DevOps

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in GitOps and CI / CD to join our Operations and Platform Management team to establish and maintain the DevOps foundation for our critical infrastructure energy management platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing secure DevOps practices for regulated environments and will work across all teams to build automated deployment pipelines for both cloud and edge environments. This position will be based remotely and requires someone who can architect enterprise-grade CI / CD systems while ensuring compliance with critical infrastructure security standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement GitOps workflows for configuration management across multi-site data center deployments with full audit trails
• Build secure CI / CD pipelines for containerized applications targeting both Azure cloud and edge Kubernetes environments
• Establish infrastructure as code practices using Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools for reproducible deployments
• Implement comprehensive security scanning including SAST, DAST, container scanning, and SBOM generation in CI / CD pipelines
• Create automated compliance validation and policy enforcement for NERC CIP, SOC 2, and other critical infrastructure standards
• Develop deployment strategies for edge locations including canary deployments, blue-green deployments, and automated rollback
• Establish DevOps best practices, documentation, and training programs for the entire engineering organization
• Build observability and monitoring into CI / CD pipelines including deployment metrics, build analytics, and failure tracking
• Collaborate with security teams to implement zero-trust principles, secret management, and certificate rotation

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
