Scala Developer

Scala developer with Spark and Hive, HQL experience.

Provide support in identifying existing data gaps, building new data pipelines, and providing automated solutions to deliver data to applications that support the business requirements.

Experience writing code using Spring Boot, Apache Kafka , and microservices is a plus.

Be quality focused with an understanding and appreciation of code review and automated testing.

Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, operational data store (ODS), and data lakes.

Ensure quality level of documentation is produced and maintained.

Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools and approaches.

Knowledge of Impala would be a plus.
