EMS Educator

Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement and conduct EMS education programs.
• Maintain records and documents.
• Monitor and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Develop multiple learning tools and activities to meet student needs.
• Complete program schedule for each program including but not limited to topic, appropriate objectives, and instructor and reading materials.

Requirements :

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or from an approved U.S. Department of Transportation EMT- Paramedic Training Program.

Three years of critical care experience.

Current licensure as a paramedic or RN in the state of Illinois.

Licensed IDPH lead instructor within 1 year of employment.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers – CPR certification required.

Must obtain the following certifications within 3 years of employment :
