We are seeking a qualified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. The role involves working closely with a supportive team, where the Nurse Practitioner will interact directly with patients to assess their dermatological conditions, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures such as biopsies. This position offers a focused yet dynamic environment suited for a professional looking to apply their medical and surgical dermatology experience.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct patient interviews, assessments, and examinations to diagnose skin conditions.

Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Perform dermatological procedures, including biopsies, as required.

Collaborate with medical assistants who will prepare the patients and manage medical histories.

Maintain detailed patient records using the Modernizing Medicine EMR system.

Ensure high standards of care and adhere to all safety and health regulations.

Additional Information

Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.

Experience in medical and surgical dermatology is essential.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
