Position : Compliance / Safety Manager.

Location : Riviera Beach.

Starfleet is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Safety and Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure our business practices meet all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. This role is crucial to maintaining our operational integrity, particularly in DOT compliance and fleet safety.

Diverse professional backgrounds and skills that can contribute to our needs will be considered.

Equivalent experience and / or a combination of related education and experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

Compliance Management :

• Develop, implement, and manage an effective legal and regulatory compliance program.
• Monitor and document vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Maintain DOT Driver Qualification files within the database.
• Ensure all business operations align with applicable laws and internal standards.
• Conduct regular audits of company policies, procedures, and documentation to identify compliance risks.
• Evaluate and improve internal control systems to prevent or respond to violations.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports and advise management on risk and resolution strategies.
• Respond to audit findings and implement corrective action plans.
