Travel Nurse RN - Med / Surg / Telemetry - $1,752 per week in Orangeburg, SC

Description : Position available for a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse. This role involves working three 12-hour night shifts. The nurse will typically have a patient ratio of 1 : 6-7. Every other weekend coverage is required. This position requires floating between like units or sister facilities as needed. First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment. The nurse must have relevant experience in telemetry and should be comfortable with community hospital environments. Additional responsibilities include managing cardiac drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and using Rapid Response / Code teams. Patients will include adults and geriatrics, with common diagnoses such as diabetes, hypertension, and cerebrovascular accidents. No on-call requirements. Travelers may need to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. Please note that local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but non-local candidates will be prioritized.
