Job Overview

Iron Oak Chevrolet is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. General Motor dealer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics and repairs on various makes and models.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
  • Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate repair quotes to customers.
  • Repair or replace

engines / transmission,

ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Align vehicles and perform suspension repairs as needed.
  • Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.

    • Experience

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in an automotive service environment.
  • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
  • Experience in welding is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine repair is but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $22.00 - $36.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 40 per week
