Job description

Are you an Interventional Radiologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity? A healthcare facility near Westminster, Maryland is looking for experienced professionals to join their team. This position offers a rewarding environment with diverse responsibilities.

Key Details

  • Start Date : February 1, 2025
  • Contract Length : Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
  • Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

  • Call rotation every 3rd or 4th week
  • Observed holidays included in coverage

    • Work Environment

  • Provide services across two acute care hospitals and an outpatient center.
  • Patient population includes all ages.
  • Bread-and-butter interventional radiology procedures with up to 25% diagnostic imaging in workflow.
  • Support from two additional interventional radiologists.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certification : Required
  • Licenses & Certifications : Must hold an active state medical license, DEA, and CSR. Fellowship training is mandatory.
  • Experience : Must be competent in diagnostic imaging studies (MR, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine).
  • References : Three references required (one MD and two peers).
  • Other : Candidates must adhere to the tobacco- and nicotine-free policy.

  • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days.
  • COVID-19 vaccine is required (no exemptions).
  • Orientation : 16 hours (non-billable).
