Third Class Electrician

L3Harris is seeking a Third Class Electrician in its Panama City, FL location. The electrician will perform entry level duties required to layout, fabricate, and install electrical wiring or coaxial cable under direct supervision or guidance.

Essential Functions :

• Performs entry level duties required to layout, fabricate and install electrical wiring or coaxial cable onboard ships.
• Assists experienced level electricians with checks, tests, and troubleshooting of shipboard electrical systems for conformance to specifications and performs repair, removal, and reinstallation of wiring as necessary.
• Cuts wires to length, strips insulation from wire ends, and insulates connections with plastic sleeves.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
