Inpatient Coding Specialist

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inpatient coding for diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS

Ensure coding quality meets or exceeds 95% accuracy while achieving client productivity targets

Utilize remote connectivity tools and office software for effective communication and data management

Required Qualifications

AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certification

Minimum of two years' recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting

Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems

Technical competency with remote-based connectivity tools

Commitment to a regular schedule with reliable attendance
