As a Part Time Server at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you’ll it will be your responsibility to tailor the dining experience to each guest providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in a superior level of guest satisfaction.

Tucked within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge at the Grand Geneva Resort, is the only all-season, all-suite, destination of its kind in the Midwest. Featuring 50,000 square feet of year-round, indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, Timber Ridge Lodge is a family bonding adventure that’s soaked in memories. Just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee, this property is also home to two championship golf courses, WELL Spa and fitness center, Mountain Top Ski Park, award-winning restaurants, and 1300 acres of picturesque grounds.

What you will be doing:

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
• Understand the menu including ingredients and preparation.
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
• Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
• Maintain self-banking procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, 18 years old to be able to serve alcohol.
• Prior service experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and etiquette.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Service-oriented with the ability to take direction.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with hospitality.
• Ability to build effective relationships with management, staff, and the public.
• Ability to life and transport trays up to 30 lbs. through crowded spaces as well as stand for a full shift.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
