Locums General Surgeon needed for 3-day coverage in North Carolina Location : Eastern North Carolina, Sampson County Dates Needed : Friday July 22 7 : 00am - Monday July 25 7 : 00am Coverage 24 hour Call (Beeper); Bylaws require the provider to be within 20 minutes of the facility at all times. The actual need is 4-6 hours gratis daily. The client prefers to have gratis hours bulked. Setting : Inpatient / Hospital Temporary Privileges are available No Rounding Active, clean North Carolina license and DEA required; Credentialing Timeframe : 2 weeks; IMLS bids will be allowed EMR : MediTech 6.1 Requirements : Active, clean license; Certification : ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Others; Skills : Require - General Surgery (adult, beds, trauma, Laparoscopic (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, Head & Neck (including thyroid), Chest wall / pleural procedures, GI endoscopy (upper & lower), colonoscopy; Preferred - Breast surgery, liver surgery, sigmoidoscopy, Vascular surgery (aneurysm repairs, thoracic, abdominal) Travel and Lodging provided (lodging is in very nice / clean hospital owned individual apartments (onsite) with wifi. Travel costs (airfare, rental car or mileage) capped at $500.00 Total)
