Pediatric Anesthesiology opening in Phoenix, AZ- Openings located in Phoenix, AZ- Full Time; Permanent- Employed- Opportunity to teach students and residents serving a patient population primarily composed of an underserved community- Location is University affiliated teaching facility, with ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 Pediatric Trauma, and ABA verified Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area- Not-for-profit (501C3)- The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR- TEE equipment is available to our anesthesiologists for perioperative and critical care patients- About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year- In-house call is 4-5 times per month- Position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students- This teaching exposure creates opportunity for our physicians to apply to our university affiliations for academic appointmentExpected Benefits Package : - 4 weeks paid time off- 1 week CME time off with CME stipend- 10 paid holidays- Medical, dental, and vision insurance- Life insurance, long term disability, AD&D insurance- 401K plan with up to 6 percent employer match- Paid medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage
