LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology PA in Waterford, Connecticut, 06385!

About The Position

We are

seeking a Locums Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

to join a busy practice in Waterford, Connecticut. This role will focus on

managing an existing patient base while a provider is on FMLA. The ideal

candidate will have experience in both benign hematology and oncology, with the

ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary

team.

Compensation :   $100 Per Hour

Position

Details : Setting : Primarily

outpatient, with the potential for some inpatient work depending on

provider experience and preference

Schedule : Monday –

Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (negotiable)

On-Call : Every 3rd

weekend and 1 weekday per week (ideally for MD coverage)

Patient Care Focus :

  • Manage follow-up oncology visits

Perform chemotherapy education for

patients

Serve as a clinical resource for

urgent needs within the onsite infusion center

Bone marrow biopsies performed

in-office

Requirements :

Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician

Assistant (PA) license

Experience in hematology / oncology

strongly preferred
