We’re partnering with a semiconductor manufacturer who is seeking a Japanese bilingual field service engineer to join their team in Taylor TX.

Title :   Japanese Bilingual Field Service Engineer

Industry : Semiconductor

Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire, Exempt

Locations : Taylor, TX

Salary :    $90,000~$100,000 Depending on candidate experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Prior semiconductor capital equipment FSE experience
  • Technical product knowledge with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Japanese / English bilingual language skills
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, and sustaining capital equipment
  • Flexibility for domestic / overseas travel for training and tool support
  • Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call work as needed

Duties

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for company products
  • Inspect, maintain, and manage local service structure to ensure high performance
  • Act as a liaison between customers and company engineering teams
  • Provide preventive or on-call maintenance for customer equipment in assigned territories
  • Work primarily on assigned machinery and assist with the introduction of new products
  • Install machines in collaboration with movers and electricians; report any quality issues to the Field Service Manager
  • Train customers and internal teams on product operation and maintenance
