About the Role As the Emergency Department Manager, you’ll represent hospital administration in the absence of the Chief Operating / Nursing Officer and ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. You’ll lead with integrity, drive performance improvement, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Ensure safe staffing levels and match staff competency with patient acuity.

Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor progress annually.

Provide onboarding and continuing education to meet scope of practice requirements.

Interview, hire, counsel, and discipline staff while promoting a healthy work environment.

Collaborate with executive leadership on budget planning and variance analysis.

Partner with physicians and leaders to evaluate and enhance nursing services.

Maintain clinical expertise and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Develop strategic goals that support innovation and shared decision-making.

Qualifications Current RN licensure in the State of Missouri.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.

3+ years of nursing leadership experience (preferred).

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association or approved provider).

TNCC certification required within 12 months of hire.
