As an unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues. Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity within the facility. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or maintenance needs discovered during patrols. Communicate professionally and courteously with staff, visitors, and / or delivery personnel at the location. Assist with the enforcement of site regulations and guidelines as directed by Allied Universal and client-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
