Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.\n\nAdditional Details\n\nRNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO / IL / Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.\n\nNo medical marijuana cards accepted.\n\nRequired Skills / Experience : Skills : Respiratory / Thoracic : Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management. Medications : Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration / Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips. Neurological : CVA / Acute Stroke management, Post Neurosurgery management. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Other : Phlebotomy, IV therapy, Starting and maintaining IVs.\n\nPreferred Skills / Experience : Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills : Neurological (ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury).\n\nRequired Credentials : Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation / Management of Dysrhythmias. ID : Drivers License / State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID card. Cert : NIH only accepted through AHA, Apex, or NIHSS websites.\n\nPreferred Credentials : Will complete 10 hours of stroke education total (NIHSS can satisfy 3 hours of the 10 hours of stroke education if taken in the year, New provider or renewal ACLS provides points if taken in the year) - will complete during orientation.\n\nUnit / Facility Details : Parking Cost : Monthly parking passes available. Travelers can reach out to Public Safety for parking passed and speak with them about what is available. Security and Parking : 314-362-0750 o North Surface Lot-$73 (price and availability may vary) o Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot- $63 (price and availability may vary) o Clayton Taylor Garage- $73 (price and availability may vary) For orientation : park in the Laclede Garage (4929 Forest Park Ave, St. Louis Mo. 63108) for which there is a $15.00 charge. Pull a parking ticket and take with you. Barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge. Wear scrubs. If you are working a straight night shift : If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). If you will be working a day / night rotation : you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton / Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.\n\nSpecial Requests : RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first week of an assignment.\n\nShift & Scheduling : Every other weekend. No on call.\n\nFloating Requirements : Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by.\n\nDetails\n AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. - Must have at least 24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience.\n
- Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.\n
- Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months\n
- BSN completion preferred\n\nRequirements\n
- Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).\n
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations\n
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >
75 miles from facility to be submitted.\n
