Position Overview : As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide high-quality care within the framework of state nurse practice regulations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients as directed and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Minimum Requirements :

Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

Current LPN license in the state of employment.

Active CPR certification.

Knowledge of state laws governing nursing practice.

Completion of required clinical competencies.

Essential Functions :

Utilize a systematic approach to address each patient's health needs.

Implement nursing care compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Assist in developing patient-specific teaching plans focused on health promotion and restoration.

Provide wound care using proper techniques.

Administer medications as prescribed.

Monitor vital signs and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

Document care in medical records accurately.

Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.
