As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play an important role in helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to any situations that may arise. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner, and providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the well-being of everyone onsite. This is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for operating a vehicle as you perform your patrol duties. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.Assist medical staff and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions.Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client to support a secure environment.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.Experience with customer service is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
