We require :
Four years of public or private sector construction communications, utility coordination / management, computer-aided drafting, and / or engineering work experienceAssociate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related fieldA combination of post-secondary education and / or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basisMust possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hireWe also value :

Manage utility projects; on-call consultants, prepare scope of work, request estimates from utility companies, develop a contractual agreement for the director or board approval, and process invoices for paymentProvide leadership, direction, and guidance in project management processes and procedures; manage consulting design engineers, consultants, contractors, and other staff to ensure proper execution of utility design and relocationWork collaboratively with utility companies, agency partners, TIP project managers, and designers to ensure that utilities are effectively designed to avoid conflicting roadway design elements. Ensure that project plans are in conformance with department goals and comply with local, state, and federal regulationsResolve complex problems proactively, working with utility companies and members of the transportation improvement program project team to develop solutions to utility conflicts that meet safety, schedule, design, and budget needs, both during design and constructionEnsure comprehensive communication with stakeholders; represent the County at agency and utility meetings, and present utility issues at public meetingsOther duties as assignedWorking conditions :
This position is eligible for hybrid flexibility after a brief training periodExerting 20 - 25 pounds occasionally, 10 - 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantlyThe work will occur in an office and field environment. While performing the duties and responsibilities, the employee may be exposed to loud noise, noxious odors, unsanitary conditions, chemicals, electricity, moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and other related conditions and situations. Position is subject to atmospheric conditions : Fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.Protective equipment required :
