Indirect Procurement Manager

Job Purpose : The Indirect Procurement Manager for American Builders Supply will oversee the acquisition of goods and services not directly used in a company’s primary product or service, but that are necessary for daily operations, such as office supplies, cell phone carriers, and maintenance anything else directly related to indirect spend.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Create and implement strategies for sourcing indirect goods and services
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet performance goals
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to reduce costs and secure favorable conditions
• Analyze spending and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Work with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Track performance against established goals and take appropriate action to meet requirements
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations
