In this internship, you'll assist in improving the connection between our cutting-edge laboratories and our advanced information systems. You'll learn how to help researchers access and utilize the wealth of data generated across our organization, contributing to the efficiency of our scientific processes. As a member of the Biologics Data Core team, you will be tasked with supporting projects related to data foundation, governance, systems and advanced applications for the Large Molecule Research (LMR) group projects and its component teams specializing in Molecular Biology; Antibody Discovery; Protein Engineering and Production and Characterization.
You'll have the opportunity to dive into the drug discovery process, explore machine learning applications in pharmaceutical research, and hone practical skills in gathering requirements from scientists. You'll develop expertise in generating technical documentation, review data processing pipelines to understand how scientific data flows through the organization and gain valuable experience training other scientists on industry-leading data registration platforms. This internship combines scientific understanding with technical skills, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while building connections with professionals across disciplines.
