Project Engineer

Description

The position of project engineer is to provide direct support to the project manager (PM) and superintendent and for the management of the company's construction projects. Serves as a liaison between the owner / client, the subcontractors, and the MYCON project staff to ensure the project proceeds safely, accurately, and smoothly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Generates and maintains project procurement log.
• Follows the strategic plan that identifies the construction team's goals for the project
• Set up drawing logs in Procore based on "for construction" drawings and update and maintain throughout the project for all drawing changes. Ensures project superintendent has updated plans, specs, supplemental information, and submittals available at all times
• Assist PM and Superintendent in preparation, updating, and distributing of monthly project schedules.
• Update project schedule with oversight from senior project engineer and or project manager and superintendent.
• Quality Control

Assure Superintendent that the proper materials that are specified and approved are being used for the construction of the facility.

Ensure accuracy with project documents and conditions.

Prepare and maintain a Project Record Set of drawings.

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing the meeting minutes
