The Finishing Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various finishing machines – including the MK1060ST, SP102BMA, SP102E Bobst, SP104E Bobst, Polar115 etc. – to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

What you’ll do as a Finishing Operator :

• Set up, operate, and monitor machines including foil stamper, die cutter, folder gluer, and laminator according to job specifications.
• Make decisions on methods to foil jobs, load and maintain supply of cards, file samples of production material and complete production records (time sheets, job jackets, etc.)
• Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Assist with machine changeovers and routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues or escalate to maintenance when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; follow all safety and housekeeping protocols.
• Perform quality checks during and after production runs to ensure product meets standards.
• Produces work in accordance with established quality assurance guidelines.
• Complete required production paperwork and logs accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status, issues and delays.
