Dairy Milk Loader 2nd shift Part Time

Toft Dairy Inc. is currently looking for quality candidates to fill a PART TIME position on our Loading Dock as a Dairy Loader. The successful candidate must be available second shift hours beginning at 2 : 00 PM and work a typical 7 to 8 hour shift 3-4 days per week depending on customer demand Monday through Friday. Please note actual days may vary each week!

THE ROLE : Loaders are responsible for filling customer orders (order picking) monitoring and rotating inventory moving of product from refrigerated warehouse to refrigerated delivery trucks warehousing and additional duties as assigned.

• Must be able to withstand cold refrigeration temperatures for periods of time
• Must provide own cold weather apparel such as coat / jacket sweatshirt hat
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to push / pull heavy loads (pallet jack 2 - wheel hand cart)
• Standing for long periods of time are required
• Maintaining a clean work environment is critical
• Punctuality is required. Being routinely late to work and / or routinely calling off of work is unacceptable.
• Ability to perform required tasks safely in a fast-paced work environment; ensuring food safety quality and efficiency standards are achieved
• Positive attitude

Toft Dairy contains office manufacturing and outdoor work spaces where this position is required to access and work. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk stand climb bend and twist; Frequently lifting / moving up to 50 lbs. is also required; occasional lifting / transferring of objects may be required with assistance up to 75 lbs. This position also requires a person to handle environments of different temperatures and with various food allergens present. This job is not for everyone as the work-environment is fast-paced physical and performed in and out of a refrigerated warehouse.
