About the Role :

The Assistant Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager / Assistant GM at Hotel Blackhawk / The Current, plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and operational excellence of the hotel's food and beverage outlets. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, quality, and hygiene across all F&B operations. Collaborates closely with the GM to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, optimize costs, and enhance team performance. This role requires proactive leadership to supervise staff, manage inventory, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Ultimately, the Assistant F&B Manager contributes significantly to the hotel's reputation and profitability by fostering a positive work environment and delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in Food Safety or ServSafe.
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control software.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems used in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in a luxury or upscale hotel setting.
  • Additional language skills to support diverse guest interactions.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate F&B staff to maintain high levels of customer service and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with the GM to plan menus, manage inventory, and control costs while ensuring quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and event teams to support banquet and catering services for special events and functions.
  • Skills :

    The Assistant F&B Manager / Asst GM utilizes leadership and communication skills daily to effectively manage and inspire the F&B team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
