Excellent opportunity to join an established practice at a freestanding children's hospital

Dayton Childrens Hospital, located in Dayton, Ohio, is actively recruiting for a third full-time Pediatric Infectious Disease physician at the level of Assistant / Associate Professor to join our team. The ideal candidate must have completed a Pediatric Infectious Disease fellowship, be board certified / board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease and be licensed / licensable in Ohio. Evidence of successful development and implementation of multidisciplinary quality improvement initiatives is desired.

Responsibilities include :

• Consultation on the inpatient service and in the Infectious Disease Clinic.
• Leadership opportunities within the hospitals infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship programs are available for qualified candidates with an interest in these fields.
• Active engagement in education of medical students and resident physicians is expected.

Dayton Childrens Hospital is a 181-bed (soon to be 220 beds with opening of a free-standing Mathile Center for Health and Wellbeing), Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet certified free-standing tertiary care facility serving a 20-county area in southwest Ohio and eastern Indiana, and is academically affiliated with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
