What youll do:

As a Director youll be in a senior-level leadership position responsible for executing the divisions strategic plan and guiding your team in its efforts to meet the Banks annual growth and customer retention targets. Youll lead a group of Commercial Bankers Business Development Officers and Portfolio Management staff to expand our market share grow the portfolio and deepen the relationship with our customers. Youll be responsible for leading the growth and development of the teams general portfolio of the Private Banking team as part of the greater Regional Banking business line. While Senior Directors spend a significant portion of their time working their own network and top-tier customers in the portfolio much of your time will be devoted to supporting your team in credit structuring discussions portfolio health management and market dynamics responsiveness.

• Responsible for supporting both regional and national leadership in executing the Banks strategic plan with specific focus of leading the efforts to grow the loan and deposit portfolio of the assigned region or business line. They are measured on their teams success in meeting sales objectives portfolio health and management of market dynamics.

• Executes the tactical strategy outlined by leadership regarding transaction pitches and negotiation of term sheets. Guides the credit structuring development process customer assessment and presentation to senior and divisional loan committees.

• Responsible for the teams success in managing portfolio health and the teams efforts to pro-actively address deteriorating loan performance mitigating risk from market developments complications in service delivery and product adoption.

• Fosters strong healthy working relationships with executive and senior leaders in partner departments (including Credit Administration Risk Management/Compliance Loan Administration and other internal support departments and third-party services) and facilitates teams contribution to and compliance with technical processes and requirements risk mitigation efficiency and customer service.

• Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring coaching performance management training and development.

What youll need:

• 9 years of related experience.

• Experience in the VC lending space

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.

• Previous leadership experience required.

• Advanced to expert knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.

• Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.

• Advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring pricing dynamics and has market specific awareness.

• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.

• May require up to 50% travel.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $182000.00 - $231548.00 for Denver CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job addition the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
