THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our fast-growing team at Baseten.

We’re looking for someone who pairs strong visual design skills with sharp product instincts and the ability to operate in a highly technical environment. You’ll take full ownership of the design process, from early explorations and internal reviews to usability testing, PRDs, and implementation.

You’ll work closely with engineering and product to solve product problems and design features for a highly technical persona. You’ll be deeply embedded in the product development process and expected to drive outcomes—not just deliver visuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process : prototyping, internal reviews, usability testing, writing PRDs, and implementation. No hand-offs.
• Work directly with engineers to solve problems and ship high-quality, user-friendly features.
• Contribute to and maintain our lightweight design system.
• Work directly with customers to validate your work and solve real problems.
• Help shape product direction and strategy across the team.
