About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll for approximately 260 employees across multiple entities within our hospitality and wine enterprise. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience processing payroll that includes tips, commissions, and multi-entity reporting, with a strong working knowledge of ADP.

This role is responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining compliance with all wage and hour laws, and providing exceptional support to employees and managers on payroll-related matters.

Key Responsibilities :

Process biweekly payroll for ~260 employees across multiple business entities

Accurately handle tips, commissions, bonuses, and benefit deductions

Maintain and reconcile payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws

Prepare and submit payroll tax reports and year-end filings (W-2, 1099, etc.)

Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries from employees and management

Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure accurate employee data and reporting

Support audits, reconciliations, and reporting related to payroll and benefits

Qualifications :

3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience (hospitality or multi-entity preferred)

Must have experience with tips, commissions, and ADP payroll systems

Proven ability to process all aspects of payroll independently (not a team lead role)

Strong understanding of wage and hour compliance and payroll tax regulations

High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
