Position Description : ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Serve as Prism SME for benefits, always taking lead on troubleshooting and issue resolution, continually deepening knowledge of benefits compliance and system functionality, monitoring for updates and seeking to define and document key processes for redundancy and repeatability. Identify and / or develop materials to train team members on benefits compliance and system functionality.Establish best practices and develop quality assurance tools for ongoing use.Complete assigned implementation tasks and keep project plans updated.Manage all client and WSE requests related to benefits.Manage all changes with benefit carriers via EDI, brokers or web enrollment (including haste enrollments). Process aging out dependents.Manage EDI file configuration with external vendors and monitor Databridge to identify and resolve any issues.Complete monthly carrier reporting on self-bill plans.Complete monthly benefit reconciliations by agreed upon deadline and ensure timely issue research and resolution.Lead internal communications on carrier changes to ensure timely, accurate payments.Monitor EOI communications to ensure timely, accurate setup in system.Manage employee life event triggered enrollments.Process QMSOs for worksite employees.Drive benefits compliance projects including but not limited to compliance filings, ERISA wraps, and 125 plan documents.Manage COBRA process with outsourced provider to ensure worksite employees receive timely, accurate COBRA notifications (initial and ongoing).Serve as sponsor and play key role in Open Enrollment project for master plans, including plan and rate setup and / or QA, client CST intake, setup support, testing, enrollment posting and payroll QA. Lead efforts for troubleshooting and issue resolution.Serve as sponsor and play key role in Open Enrollment project for client plans, including plan and rate setup and / or QA, testing, enrollment posting and payroll QA. Serve as Prism SME for retirement, always taking lead on troubleshooting and issue resolution, continually deepening knowledge of retirement compliance and system functionality, monitoring for updates and seeking to define and document key processes for redundancy and repeatability. Identify and / or develop materials to train team members on retirement compliance and system functionality.Establish best practices and develop quality assurance tools for ongoing use.Complete assigned implementation tasks and keep project plans updated.Complete introductions and drive implementation of multiple employer plan for retirement.Manage post-implementation transitions onto the Connectify multiple employer plan (MEP).Approve weekly funding requests.Manage forfeitures with recordkeeper.Review payroll variance files immediately upon receipt and provide feedback to recordkeeper on all identified discrepancies.Complete YTD retirement reconciliation on a monthly basis by agreed upon due date.Complete retirement audit and ensure timely review and submission of 5500 filing.Complete retirement register adjustments as needed, including post-entry independent QA.Manage retirement recordkeeper to a high-level of quality and accountability, always working to build a strong partnership.Review year-end project plan from a retirement and compliance perspective and add new tasks as needed. Complete metrics reporting and system audits as assigned.Respond to clients, both internal and external, in a timely manner, always providing solutions and taking opportunities to train on self-service when appropriate.Respond to WSE phone calls and email inquiries in a timely manner with a high-level of service.Document key processes for consistency and role redundancy.Stay organized, track and manage day-to-day responsibilities.Adhere to SLAs, meet deadlines and honor commitments.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors degree in technical field.Four or more years of payroll, benefits, retirement and compliance-related experience.PEO experience preferred.REQUIRED SKILLS :
