Job Description : Details Department : Interventional Radiology - Neuro and Vascular lab Schedule : Monday - Friday 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm (4 10 hour shifts) and take rotating call to cover nights, weekends, and holidays. This requires a 30 minute response time to the hospital. Hospital : Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Location : Indianapolis, IN Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital is a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma facility. We offer 24 hour emergent treatment for Myocardial Infarction (STEMIs), STROKEs, and Trauma's. The Indianapolis campus has 16 procedural labs. Currently there are 3 cardiac catheterization labs, 4 electrophysiology labs, 2 neuro suites, and 5 vascular / body labs. Our labs are busy and continue to grow. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.Prepare, implement, and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.Perform and / or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration : BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
