Job description

Hiring Two Male Pca Openings At Middle School

Contract Duration : W2 Contract With Benefits / Guaranteed Until The End Of The School Year

Transportation Requirement : Must Have Reliable Transportation And Own Vehicle

Work Hours : 7.5 Hours Per Day, Times Depend On The Building.

Middle School

8 : 00 Am - 3 : 15 Pm

Job Summary :

  • Provide One-On-One Behavior And Academic Support To Students.
  • Assist In Implementing Effective Educational Programs As Assigned By The Case Manager.
  • Support Students With Special Needs, Including Feeding, Toileting, Positioning, And Monitoring Health Conditions.

Responsabilities :

  • Provide Instruction In Various Areas Such As Cognitive, Motor Skills, Feeding, Self-Help, And Behavior Control As Directed By The Teacher.
  • Maintain The Health And Safety Of Physically Handicapped Students By Being Aware Of The Environment And Potential Hazards.
  • Assist Students With Personal Hygiene, Including Washing Hands And Faces, Toileting, And Changing Diapers And Clothing As Needed.
  • Monitor And Control Student Behavior According To Established Guidelines.
  • Assist Specialists With Physical Development Activities.
  • Prepare Students For Mainstreamed Classes Following Established Procedures.
  • Attend Training And In-Services Related To Medical Interventions And Instructional Programs As Required.
  • Assist Students With Braces And Other Orthopedic Equipment, Including Lifting And Repositioning.
  • Maintain Records Related To Student Progress.
  • Implement Positive Behavior Intervention Support Policies.
  • Collaborate With Case Workers, General Education Teachers, And Other Staff As Needed.
  • Assist Students In Social Interactions.
  • Work Cooperatively With Others And Independently As Needed.
  • Perform Other Duties As Required.

  • First Aid And Cpr Procedures
  • Basic Record-Keeping Techniques
  • Correct English Usage, Grammar, Spelling, Punctuation, And Vocabulary
  • High School Diploma / Ged
  • Pa Child Abuse Clearance
  • Pa Criminal Clearance
  • Pa Fbi Fingerprints
  • Tb & Physical
  • Cpr & First Aid Certification
  • Act 24 & 31
