Hours : 6am- 3 : 30pm

As an Inventory Specialist, your primary duties will include accurately counting and reconciling merchandise, as well as maintaining detailed records of products currently in stock. You will also be responsible for identifying any discrepancies or losses during weekly inventory reviews and working to prevent these issues from recurring.

Ultimately, you will play a key role in tracking inventory levels to ensure the company maintains adequate stock of products, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and / or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
• Operates forklift truck when necessary.
• Evaluating and managing stock rotation procedures
• Maintaining inventory storage space in the store’s warehouse
• Training staff in stocking procedures and product dating methods
• Planning warehouse space usage
• Assisting Procurement on placing inventory restock orders.
• Communicating with management about any inventory issues
• Work with management if products are missing or damaged within a shipment.
• Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.
