Accounting Associate

We are an established and growing IT integration company headquartered in San Antonio. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our accounting team. This is a hands-on role and will provide significant growth opportunities as we create a best-in-class accounting department. This role requires someone who is highly analytical, a great communicator, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment for a growing company with an exciting 5-year plan.

Senior Accountant responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

A/R and A/P responsibilities

Bank reconciliations.

Payroll prep

Prepares accurate and timely financial reports.

Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

Provides support for the annual budgeting and planning process.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5 years of accounting experience (can substitute two additional years of experience in lieu of an accounting degree).

Excel and QuickBooks expertise

AR/AP/Payroll experience.

Excellent communication skills.

A strong desire to grow with a company for the next 10 years.

A highly entrepreneurial mindset

Experience in construction and IT is a plus.
