Dallas Co is hiring : Audio Visual Broadcast Technician in Frisco

The AV BROADCAST TECHNICIAN provides AV technical services for The Star in Frisco. Such services include technical support for Control Room(s), audio-video equipment, IT interface, and signal routing / patching. This role is based out of The Star in Frisco, TX.

Job Duties : include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Set up and assist with internal and third-party events, in-venue show presentation.
• Support production truck broadcast engineers and third-party clients with interfacing to house AV systems.
• Ensure that all broadcast and third-party interfaces to the house are routed correctly.
• Works with clients to collect and integrate still and motion graphics for show integration.
• Manages the archiving and organization of electronic graphics, production elements, and related assets.
• Monitors Momentus software for scheduling and event AV requests.
• Keeps up with industry trends to make updates as soon as reasonably possible.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, policies, and procedures to ensure broadcast systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Work collaboratively with company / stadium staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure efficiency throughout the planning and operation of events.
• Serve as AV liaison to event clients as needed.
• Train back-up personnel to ensure that vital positions are always covered.
• Interfaces well with interns and contract labor.
• Monitors the use of materials and expendables.
• Perform other functions and activities across all DCFC owned properties as directed
