Job descriptionBS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. 10-15 years of experience in power generation, with a focus on low and medium voltage power distribution and motor controls. Proficient in power distribution modeling software (e.g., ETAP). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high-performance teams. Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Senior Electrical Engineer - (Power Generation)
Location : Remote with 15%aanual site travel
Salary : $95 600 - $170 000
Our client is seeking an experienced a Professionally Registered Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in fossil and hydro power generation. If you have a passion for multi-discipline projects in power generation, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and review of power generation projects, including Single Line Diagrams, AC / DC elementaries, and switchboard wiring diagrams.
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet client expectations.
- Interface industrial processes with DCS and PLC systems, and utilize power distribution system modeling software like ETAP.
- Lead and participate in client meetings, building strong relationships and effectively communicating technical information.
