Shipping / Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role involves data entry, strong computer skills, and a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including Excel and Outlook. You will utilize analytical skills to review data and make correct inventory adjustments. A keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team are essential. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the user interface, correcting errors during receiving, picking, and shipping materials throughout the day. This position requires documenting errors in various reports, communicating with personnel to resolve inbound issues, and using various websites to complete transactions. Additionally, you will generate lists of items / locations for cycle counting and document all outbound shipments, recording any errors during the shipment process. Coordination with trucks for material pick-up and drop-off, as well as collaboration with the warehouse floor and supervisors on production flow, will be key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Analytical skills for data review and inventory adjustment. Attention to detail and strong communication skills. Teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6 months to 1 year of inventory / warehouse experience or a solid work history. Experience with warehouse, inventory, auditing, RF scan gun, shipping and receiving. Familiarity with FedEx and SAP. Must be computer literate and detail-oriented. Steel-toed shoes / boots required at all times.

Work Environment

You will work in a very large, clean, well-lit, and organized warehouse. The role is for a first shift from 6 am to 2 : 30 pm, with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays and during the week. Steel-toed shoes / boots are required at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk River, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.35 - $21.35 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
