A multiservice Psychiatric Hospital is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location

The facility is located 250 miles southeast of Atlanta, Georgia. About the Clinician's Workday

This forensic psychiatry role involves patient evaluations, medication management, rounding, and crisis intervention, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include documentation, developing recovery plans, participating in treatment meetings, handling court-related updates, and ensuring compliance with legal and forensic standards.

  • Case Load / PPD : ~6-10 / PPD
  • Support Staff : Psychiatrists, Psychiatric NPs, LCSWs, Medical Director, RNs
  • Patient Population : Adults
  • Location Type : On-Site

  • Cases Treated : acute psychiatric crises, long-term serious mental illness
