Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & People Management
- Work side-by-side with the GM to understand all elements of store operations
- Step into the GM role when needed—managing staff, customer experience, and daily results
- Lead and coach Assistant Managers, and Retail Associates
- Provide ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and development plans
- Help build a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and progressive discipline processes
Store Operations
Oversee daily store activities including opening / closing, shift coverage, and task executionManage employee scheduling, timecard approvals, and ensure labor complianceEnsure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulationsSupport the GM in facility upkeep, maintenance scheduling, and vendor coordinationCustomer Experience & Sales
Lead by example in delivering best-in-class customer serviceMonitor customer satisfaction metrics and resolve escalated service issuesChampion loyalty programs and customer engagement initiativesProvide sales coaching, promote upselling, and help team exceed targetsOversee in-store merchandising, displays, digital signage, and visual presentationInventory & Cash Management
Manage inventory intake, product restocking, returns, audits, and destructionMonitor inventory accuracy and loss prevention protocolsEnsure secure and accurate handling of cash, and POS systemsComplete end-of-day financial reports and reconcile cash discrepanciesTechnology & Facilities
Troubleshoot POS systems, kiosks, and in-store digital toolsAssist with maintenance coordination and store presentationUphold cleanliness and fire safety standards across the facilityReporting, Training & Change Management
Assist in financial reporting, labor cost tracking, and EOD summariesSupport the GM in implementing new policies, systems, and changes in operationsCoordinate staff training sessions, new hire onboarding, and SOP updatesEnsure all certifications, training, and compliance requirements are metQualifications :
2+ years of retail management or supervisory experienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentPrevious retail, sales and / or customer service experience is strongly preferredThis position requires the ability to perform essential job functions such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly (up to 200 pounds with assistance), with or without reasonable accommodationWe do not require previous professional experience in the cannabis industry but would prefer the applicant be a consumer of the productAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidaysMust commit to coming to work soberSuccessfully pass a pre-employment criminal background checkMinimum 21 years of ageBenefits and Compensation :
