Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of domestic capital projects ($20MM to $60MM in size). Projects include the upgrade and expansion of existing facilities as well as new facilities.
• Prepare project scopes, cost estimates, authorization requests and schedules along with basic engineering and detailed design construction packages
• Direct and manage project execution by safely performing the work defined in the project plan to achieve stated objectives
• Coordinate and lead internal / external teams and third-party engineering firms
• Anticipate and identify areas of risk and mitigate through proactive risk assessments and implementation of countermeasure / mitigation strategies
• Use established PM tools and techniques (cash flow projections, scope / schedule control, etc.) to stay within authorized budget limits and achieve the overall project and organizational objectives (safety, quality, capacity, timing, etc.)
• Effectively communicate project status to stakeholders and senior leadership via steering team meetings and other communication updates
• Domestic travel requirements estimated to be 30%
