Job summary
Our housekeeping team is truly the heart of the house, ensuring that our guests know every visit to our hotels will include a flawless cleanliness experience. Most housekeeping associates are primarily focused on cleaning guest rooms and public spaces to the franchise brands standard within the allotted timeframe; others may be more specifically focused on laundry or houseperson responsibilities (stripping rooms, cleaning public spaces, etc.). As with all positions, delivering remarkable hospitality within every guest interaction is a must. Working in housekeeping provides a hands-on role where you can see the results of your work and experience the satisfaction of a cleaning job well done.

- Competitive hourly wage (this is a non-exempt hourly position).
- Performance reviews with raise eligibility at six months, 12 months, then annually.

Job responsibilities
All housekeeping associates are responsible for assisting with all aspects of housekeeping including rooms, laundry, and houseperson duties as needed. Most housekeeping associates will be assigned to one primary focus area within the housekeeping department :Rooms attendant : Thoroughly clean both checkouts and stays within the allotted timeframes following TS2 Hospitality and franchise brand cleaning standards and procedures.Laundry attendant : Wash, dry, fold and deliver clean laundry efficiently following TS2 Hospitality and franchise brand standards and procedures.Houseperson : Clean public spaces, strip rooms (remove trash and soiled linens), deliver laundry, and assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed.Follow checklists, documented procedures and verbal instructions to ensure all tasks are completed on time and according to the specifications provided by leadership.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning / restocking carts at the end of the day, cleaning back of house areas, restocking storage closets and looking around to identify additional tasks that need to be completed.Report any maintenance or guest service issues to the front desk and management teams in accordance with the procedures outlined by leadership.Provide a cheerful and warm greeting to all guests encountered, ask if we can do anything to better serve them, and ensure guests experience remarkable hospitality at all times.Complete and retain training as directed by managers / trainers, including brand training, company training and in-person instruction. Note taking is encouraged.Communicate and collaborate with other hotel departments including front desk and maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience.Attend mandatory company meetings and trainings as directed by hotel management.Complete other tasks and responsibilities as needed / directed by hotel management.Qualifications
A positive attitude and a commitment to working as part of a small team.Passionate about cleanliness, both in guest-facing areas and back of house areas.Flexible schedule able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays (weekend / holiday availability is required). Changes in schedule availability from what was discussed during the hiring process may result in a reduction of scheduled shifts.Able to consistently arrive at work on time and fully complete scheduled shifts to avoid creating extra unexpected work for other team members.Able to consistently complete assigned responsibilities to the specified standard within the timeframes specified by leadership.Willingness to help in other areas of the hotel as directed by hotel leadership.Physically able to complete the work associated with hotel housekeeping, including but not limited to bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.Able to successfully pass a drug test and background check.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily and with or without reasonable accommodation.About TS2 Hospitality
